Description
A deep ruby colour with a nose of black fruits and cherry leather. Nice structure and fullness. Tannins are present and justNice structure and fullness. Tannins are present and justa slightly drying at the end of the mouth. This is a rusticwine, with a great personality. Very characteristic fromthe Pommard appellation.
The Moillard family already owned vineyards before the French Revolution, but the winery was properly created when Symphorien Moillard married Margueritte Grivot in 1948. The new domaine saw a real boom in 1850 when the new railway opened connecting Paris, Lyon and Marseille, enabling rapid growth of the domaine.
