Description
Tannat is Uruguay’s signature variety, a black-skinned, tannic grape usually. This one’s got a striking label and is way more accessible than most natural, no-added-sulphur, wild yeast wines. Bold, meaty but well-defined black fruit and good acidity. Richard loved it saying somewhat cryptically “almost undrinkable in a really good way.” They say “First wine made in Uruguay with no added sulphites and indigenous yeast. The purest form of Tannat you can get. This is delicious, juicy, with great structure. The one to go with your summer barbeque.

As a natural wine, this had not been fined and so may have some sediment lurking at the bottom of the bottle. Don’t worry, it’s all flavour!
